All rooms are different and regular guests have their own personal favourites. Most have large windows, many have high ceilings and all are brightly lit. Both front and back rooms have an interesting view, one that is special and characteristic to few other hotels.
All our rooms have colour TV, telephone and wash-basin/sink. We have a number of spacious family rooms (also on the lower ground and close to the garden), and a proportion of rooms have en-suite facilities. Other rooms share convenient shower and bathroom facilities. We can provide baby cots/cribs for babies at an extra charge of £ 10.00. All our rooms are non-smoking but we do have a large smoking lounge. Rooms are thoroughly serviced everyday by our large and experienced staff. And there is always someone in reception at the end of the phone should you require any assistance. We have rooms located on the ground floor for wheelchair access.
Throughout the hotel many original Georgian features have been retained including marble fire surrounds, cornices and elegant staircases. There is no lift/elevator, but, there is porter service available in the mornings and until 2.00 pm.
